For footstep #1 (setting off), I have created this Google Slideshow to launch the project in my classroom. I like the videos that OOEL uses. However, I wanted to suplement it with some other activities to build more context around journey. Let me know what you think, or what suggestions you might have. This was made for a grade 6 social studies class.
